I've used Weaved with both tightvncserver on port 5901 and RealVNC on port 5900.
The Pi installer has a menu entry for VNC which defaults to using port 5901 (assuming tightvncserver).
If you're using RealVNC, set 5900 as the port instead of choosing the default.
In general, though, you can also set it up as a custom TCP service, answer "No" to the question about whether it's a web protocol, and use the port that your VNC server is using. The VNC entry in the Pi installer is a shortcut for doing this.
When you connect, you'll get a popup dialog as shown.
You can try the Flash VNC client (option 1), which opens directly in your browser. This doesn't always work, so to use a standalone VNC client, copy the address from option 3 and paste it into your application's address field.
